The Church Flower Garden - May 2022
I attended 'Wednesday Welcome' on 18th May and as I parked my car I was struck by the dazzling display of flowers, particularly the roses, in front of me. The photographer in me could not resist taking some photos, with the aim of sharing them with visitors to the Church website.
As I was uploading the photos from my phone to the computer, the thought hit me that the garden isn't just a thing of beauty for today, it is also a 'Garden of Remembrance'. A garden that celebrates the memories of all those who poured their love of the Church and its people into its creation.
Two names, in particular, come to mind, Ted Humphries and St. Clair Holligan, thank you to them and all the others that have given us this lasting testimony of their love and devotion. Ed.
