South Aston Church Hosted Residents of Barry Jackson Tower to Celebrate the Queen's Jubilee
Today we played host to our neighbours in Barry Jackson Tower which houses families in temporary accommodation. There were about 100 adults and children from tots to teens and they enjoyed a lunchtime Jubilee celebration together with food, games and presents.
The staff in the picture, joined by our Minister, Revd. Peter Little, did a grand job providing both the lunch and the entertainment. The star of the show was Barry Bear, who all the children wanted to be photographed with. It was a very happy and successful occasion.
