Jim Hastie
Jim Hasie, husband of Church Elder Pat, passed away after a long illness on Saturday 8th October.
Jim and Pat celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary last year and a number of us from Church were able join them on that joyous occasion.
Jim was a great family man and an accomplished musician, playing a number of instruments and often writing his own music. He played in bands in earlier years and often entertained groups at the church.
They recently moved to their lovely new sheltered housing complex where Jim was very happy after many years living close to the Aston Villa Football Ground.
The service of thanksgiving for the life of Jim Hastie will be held at Perry Barr Crematorium on Wednesday October 26th at 11.00 a.m.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat and her family at this time.
