             Macmillan Fundraising 2021
Last year when we were in lockdown we were very ambitious and organised our event by Zoom which went very well and raised an excellent amount.
This year we've been even more adventurous and have held two events - a most enjoyable afternoon tea in John & Lynn's garden on a lovely sunny afternoon and the following week we held a Zoom Quiz which was good fun. So, hopefully we had something that most people could join in with.
The result has been just amazing and to date we have raised over £887 so far !
So, a BIG 'thank you' to everyone who participated in anyway, whether by setting up, catering, donating prizes & cakes, enjoying the fun etc, etc.  We couldn't have done it without you, thank you.
Thank you to everyone for your generosity .

Here a some photos from the tea party, submitted by Jackie Hancox -

After the photos there is a "Thank you" note from the Macmillan "Coffee Morning" team.

South Aston United Reformed Church, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning is nothing without you. Thank you so much for donating a gift of £887.50.

We hope you felt proud as everyone came together to tuck into all those delicious treats. Whether it was with cake, a cuppa or clinking glasses, you did something extraordinary.

Every penny raised will help Macmillan be right there for people living with cancer, as we continue to offer physical, financial and emotional support to those who need us.

Look out for a special thank you in the post, which should arrive within 15 working days. Your donation reference is 39438960.

Thank you once again. Your Coffee Morning means so much,

The Coffee Morning Team
