40th Church Anniversary Lunch
After weeks of planning and several days of preparation the great day -
5th October 2013 arrived. And what a glorious day it was, even the sun decided it wanted to join the party.
Due to the meticulous planning and much hard work everything worked like clockwork. At least that is how it appeared to me; maybe it was a case of me only seen the beautiful swan swimming on top of the water and not the thrashing of the feet below.
Whatever, many congratulations to all those who contributed to this successful celebration. Certainly, all the guests I spoke to said how much they had enjoyed the day, particularly the opportunity presented to catch up with old friends and acquaintances. Here are some photos from the day -

The wonderful cake was made by Rose Simpson's 13 year old nephew, D'Wayne Campbell (see photo below) and the stylish cup cakes were made by Erica. A big thank you an a loud 'Well Done' to both.
