The Lunch Club Celebrates the Church's 40th Anniversary
On Wednesday 2nd October 2013 The Lunch Club kicked off South Aston URC's 40th Anniversary celebrations with an inspired lunch time party. Star of the Show was 'Gabriela the Ukelele Lady'. She went down a storm and involved many members of the audience in her performances to the delight of all even those who she selected.
An other surprise of the afternoon was Brenda Davies congratulating Dave Kendrick on his 25 years service to the elderly of South Aston. No one was more surprised than David but it was very well deserved. The Lunch Club, in particular, has both thrived and expanded as a result of his dedication and enthusiasm.
