Prayer Pilgrimage
Rev. Richard Knott our W.M Synod Youth & Children’s Officer has embarked on a Prayer Pilgrimage to all the churches in the West Midlands. His aim is to pray at each church (inside or outside if there’s no one there) – all 109 of them !! He started in February and by this week has visited half of them.
On Tuesday 22nd March he was in inner city Birmingham and starting at Elmwood in Handsworth Wood, he visited 12 churches including our own group of Wilton Road, Bishop Latimer, Lodge Road, and South Aston. Our minister Peter met up with him at Wilton Road and went to each of those churches with him.
Richard and Peter arrived at the end of our Bible Study, just as we had begun our Prayer time and so we went outside onto the car park as it was a beautiful day. Richard offered prayers for the church, the community and the world and we also had the opportunity to offer prayers too if we wished and it was a really special time.
After his short time with us Richard set off for his next stop, Carrs Lane in the City Centre.
Thank you Richard - What a wonderful Mission!
